Almost five times the limit

Police were dismayed at a 0.211 blood alcohol level recorded by a Warragul driver on Saturday night.
An off-duty police member intercepted the driver in the Bunnings car park after he observed the utility being driven erratically in the car park.
Community members alerted police to a vehicle being driven erratically through the central business district at about 8.30pm.
The vehicle was later seen in the Bunnings car park in Hazel Drv where an off duty police member stepped in and immobilised the car and restrained the driver.
Warragul Police attended and conducted a breath tests. The driver allegedly recorded a blood alcohol content of 0.211, almost five times the legal limit.
The 37-year-old driver had his licence immediately suspended and his vehicle impounded.
He will be summonsed to court to face multiple traffic offences.
Police said they were dismayed at the high alcohol content given recent media exposure about traffic operations targeting speed and drink driving.
Police praised the actions of community members who rang triple zero to report the driver and the quick action of an off-duty member to prevent a potential serious traffic incident.
