Warragul Philatelic Society hosted its annual Stamp and Coin Fair recently.
After a quiet start, the West Gippsland Arts Centre's Fountain Room was soon abuzz with chatter, as people, young and old, moved from table to table, before settling down at a table where they were able to find stamps or coins they wanted.
Some had come to buy, while some had come to sell surplus stamps or coins from their collection or from the collection of a loved one who had died.
More than 300 people attended and many purchased raffle tickets, with raffle prize winners announced at the end of the day.

The Fountain Room was an excellent venue and society members were appreciative of the help of staff member Tania throughout the day.
The stamp and coin dealers were satisfied with the day and said they would be happy to return next year.
