St Paul's Anglican Grammar School students will light up the West Gippsland Arts Centre stage with their 2025 production of "You're History" (A Maverick Musical), opening on Friday September 5.
Packed with singing, dancing, mayhem and adventure, the show will have something for everyone.
The production follows a teenager who turns a classroom into a time machine, sending a rowdy detention crew on a wild ride through history as they collide with hilarious Vikings, pirates, gladiators, classic Shakespearean characters and ancient Greek figures.
Audiences can expect intrigue, humour and wit in a high-energy production that blends schoolyard antics with historical chaos.
Director Kylie Sinclair, supported by her year 11 theatre studies class, has guided students through set building, costume design, staging and lighting.
Featuring a cast drawn from across the secondary school, the collaboration between staff and students is bound to deliver a lively and entertaining show.
The cast will perform four shows of "You're History" between Friday September 5 and Sunday September 7.
