Tourism going backwards - Farnham

Good day visitation but "soft" overnight stays and international tourism are being experienced, according to a Walhalla tourism operator.

Walhalla and Mountain Rivers Tourist Association president Michael Leaney said tourism revenue might be up across Victoria but it was more a reflection of inflation, not visitor numbers.
"The reality is that costs have skyrocketed," Mr Leaney said. "Everything has gone up."
