Baw Baw Shire mayor Danny Goss reinforced there was "no point" in ratepayers refusing to pay the Emergency Services and Volunteers Levy.
Providing his mayoral minute at last week's meeting, Cr Goss addressed "a bit of chatter on social media" in which residents vowed to refuse payment of the ESVF in their council rates bill.
