Summer internships offered at Gippsland Water
1 min read

University students that want to do a bit more than soak up the sun during their summer break have a chance to get a feel for the workplace and boost their skills - and get paid for it.
Gippsland Water is again offering 12-week internships to Gippslanders attending university to be mentored, coached and work on real business projects.
Managing director Sarah Cumming said the positions were available for a broad range of students.
Offers were open in a number of engineering disciplines, environmental sciences, information technology, business and commerce and communications/journalism.
M Cumming said the program benefited both the students and Gippsland Water.
She said Gippsland Water was one of the larger employers in Gippsland providing excellent employment opportunities without locals having to further their studies and careers by moving to Melbourne.
For some the summer internship program can be used to gain credits towards their degrees.
Applications are now open at www.gippswater.com.au/careers
