Two year nine students from Warragul Regional College recently donated their hand grown vegetables to Baw Baw Food Relief.
As part of their Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Leadership program, Ruben Nelson and Isaac Saward dedicated their Thursday and Friday lunch breaks during term two to grow fresh vegetables from seed in the school agriculture area.
Once they'd harvested their produce, Ruben and Isaac decided to donate the fresh vegetables to Baw Baw Food Relief to make sure they would go to people in need.
Baw Baw Food Relief community relations co-ordinator Mark Cleeman thanked the students for their donation and said it would make a difference to those in need.
