The health benefits of fresh produce was the message at a special morning tea in Warragul for seniors.
West Gippsland Healthcare Group's health promotion team was at the event the community garden at the rear of Community House in Normanby St to talk about "all things health" to a group of senior citizens.
The visitors got the chance to have a look at the garden, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and have a taste and take home some of the fruit and vegetables grown there.
Local residents are more than welcome to become members and a green thumb is not a prerequisite.
There are some tasks that anyone can help with.
Community gardens are popular in Baw Baw Shire with them already established at Warragul, Jindivick, Drouin, Longwarry, Trafalgar and Yarragon.
