Longwarry (117) def. by Drouin (6/197)
Brenton Lewien continued his excellent start to the 2026-27 season to lead Drouin to an 80-run win over Longwarry, his second consecutive half-century the standout knock in the Hawks' innings.
With Trent Wardle (32) and Gavin Mills (35) providing support, Lewien (51*) led the charge as Drouin posted an intimidating total of 6/197.
In reply Lucky Walpola (42) did his best to match the efforts of the Hawks' trio and Craig Melville (24) struck a fluent cameo in support, but Jimmy Atwal (3/5) and Mills (3/11) proved far too accomplished for the Crows' lower order as they slumped to be all out for 117.
Hallora (5/137) def. Trafalgar (134)
Paul Bridges-Black has played a host of cricket at higher levels and his experience helped Hallora claim a five-wicket win over Trafalgar on Saturday, with the all-rounder striking a sublime 51* to lead the Kangaroos' run chase.
His innings was of particular importance as Hallora had slipped to 4/53 and looked in danger of falling short of the Ships' total of 134. Bridges-Black's capacity for clearing the fence was on full display, and with support from the lower order, Hallora reached 5/137 in the 28th over.
Earlier in the day, Trafalgar's innings was made possible by impressive showings from Christian Burgess (45) and Colin Parnall (41), although Ross Donoghue's staggering haul of 5/5 ensured their efforts ultimately were in vain.
Yarragon (81) def. by Jindivick (7/101)
Irrepressible spells from Angus Thomson and Jackson Stewart helped Jindivick claim a 20-run win over Yarragon, with the duo running through the Panthers' top order to put paid to their hopes of a successful run chase.
Having posted a middling total of 7/101 from their allotted overs, the Jumping Jacks knew early breakthroughs were crucial and Thomson (2/4 from 5) and Stewart (3/22 off 6) were able to remove some of Yarragon's most dangerous bats – the likes of Tim Jeffrey and Chameera Vithnage – before they could impact the contest.
Ben Asplin (26*) did his best to bring the Panthers back into the contest, but the pressure applied by Jindivick saw them dismissed for 81 in the 33rd over.
Earlier in the day, Chris De Vent (21) and Jody Hobson (22) impressed, and their knocks proved to be crucial come game's end.
Neerim District def. Catani by forfeit.
Bye: Western Park and Ellinbank.
