Help shape future of health hub

Community members are being encouraged to have their say about the future of healthcare in Neerim South and surrounding districts.

As construction of the new Neerim Health Hub continues towards its planned opening in 2027, Neerim Health is seeking feedback from residents, patients, carers, volunteers and local families about the health services that matter most to them.
The survey is part of Neerim Health's commitment to ensuring local healthcare remains safe, accessible and sustainable into the future.
Community feedback will help inform decisions about future services, priorities for the new health hub, and the best ways to maintain local access to care for years to come.
Participants will be asked about:
The health services they most value locally;
Current barriers to accessing healthcare;
Priorities for future services at the new health hub;
Preferences for how healthcare should be delivered in the future; and,
What gives them confidence in the long-term future of local healthcare.
Neerim Health board chair Sean Dignum said the survey was focused on understanding future needs and community priorities.
"The new health hub provides a once-in-a-generation opportunity to strengthen healthcare for our community. We want to hear what services people need most, what matters to them about local access to care, and how we can build a sustainable health service that continues to serve our community well into the future."
The survey forms part of a broader community engagement program that will include information updates, stakeholder meetings and opportunities for residents to learn more about planning for the new health hub.
The survey takes less than 10 minutes to complete and all community members are encouraged to participate. The survey closes on September 12.
