Trafalgar High School held its athletics carnival at the Joe Carmody Athletics Track in Newborough last month.
280 students participated in the track and field events, with a number of records broken on the day.
Joshua Piovesan set a new record in age 14 800 metres with his time of 2.14.24, eclipsing the pervious record of 2.30.09.
Mason Malady set a new record age 15 high jump with a 1.75m jump and James Pace set a new record in the age 17 high jump with a 1.85m jump.
In triple jump, Brayden Smith set a new record for age 14 at 9.73 metres and Marcy Wade set a new record for age 18 triple jump of 8.70 metres.
At a recent assembly, principal Brett Pedlow congratulated all the record holders as well as the age group winners of:
Age 13 - Aleera Devries and Darcy Beechey Orgill.
Age 14 - Madison Schrader and Joshua Piovesan.
Age 15 - Hanna Schloetel and Mason Malady.
Age 16 - Haylee Sutton and Jake Horn.
Age 17 - Rebecca Geisler and James Pace.
Age 18 - Poppy Susa and William Ambler.
