Ellinbank Primary School gave gratitude to first responders recently as part of "Thank a First Responder Day."
Celebrating the national day of appreciation for first responders and their families, the school thanked Ellinbank-Darnum CFA for providing a valued community service.
The students presented local CFA members with notes and pictures of thanks for the work which they do in the community.
Each year the CFA visits the school and teaches the students about fire awareness. They also use the school grounds for training volunteers and supporting the school's annual community bonfire night.
