Eagles kick away in under 18s

Ellinbank under 18s earnt its way through to the second semi-final, comfortably accounting for a Buln Buln side missing some personnel required for senior duty on Sunday.
The Eagles kicked away to win 10-13 (73) to 6-5 (41).
But the Lyrebirds should be a more difficult proposition as the finals series continues, with key players set to come back following their senior sides' shock loss on Sunday.
A long shot from centre-half-forward carried the line to begin the momentum, as Preston Alger ran through two of the next three goals.
Charlie Armour also hit the scoreboard as the Eagles raced out to a four-goal advantage.
Flynn Bravington got one back for the Lyrebirds, but the Eagles maintained the running with four second quarter goals to open a healthy 46-point buffer at the long break.
Ashley Debenham, Archer Thorne, Armour, Jhy Good, Bailey Helps and Josh Tylee helped the Eagles to their advantage.

Ellinbank found steadiers with Hugh Cunningham striking a nice set shot from the flank and Armour running through another.
Evan Eastwell backed up his strong performance from the under 16s to find the late consolation for Buln Buln, who now face a do or die contest this Sunday.
CATANI staved off a second half challenge from Trafalgar to advance in the under 18s.
After making a fast start, the Blues were able to hold on 7-7 (49) to 6-6 (42).
