Bowling for success at St Paul's

Year seven and eight students from St Paul's Anglican Grammar School had the chance to roll into a new sport recently after being welcomed to the Warragul Bowls Club to learn all about lawn bowls.
With their learning being supported by members of the club, students were able to unpack the basics of lawn bowls and practise the skills necessary to play the game well.
By putting in the work and practising techniques, students built the confidence to try new things and gained insight into the approaches that lead to success.
The years seven and eight 'Active For Life' elective at St Paul's gives students the opportunity to be active and participate in a range of recreational and leisure sports.
The skills learned throughout the unit can be carried out by students for the rest of their lives, applying them in various ways both within a sports environment and beyond sport.
