Pseudo Echo hit WGAC

"Funky Town" will rock the West Gippsland Arts Centre when "Pseudo Echo", led by founder, lead singer and guitarist Brian Canham, take to the stage on Saturday, August 5.
After selling out shows across Australia, Pseudo Echo will bring "The Ultimate" tour to Warragul to coincide with the release of its "Ultimate" double album and DVD.
The full production stage show will feature epic lighting, visuals and a six-piece line-up, led by Canham.
"It's fantastic to be back touring sell-out shows with a stage show that is bigger than ever before," Canham said. "The audience reaction to every performance has been amazing and we can't wait to hit Warragul and rock the West Gippsland Arts Centre."
Taking their name from a synthesiser manual, Pseudo Echo pioneered the 80s with an avant-garde look and electro sound.
They introduced audiences to a new sounds in an era of pub rock.
Pseudo Echo became the first unrecorded band to appear on the legendary Australian music show "Countdown", and hit the top 10 in the US and UK.
They won the World Popular Song Festival in Japan and took home trophies for best band and Canham for most popular male performer at the Countdown awards.
Following the release of gold and platinum albums "Autumnal Park" and "Love an Adventure", the band achieved iconic status with the release of international hit "Funky Town".
Hits will fill the Warragul show's two-hour set, including "Funky Town", "Listening", "A Beat For You", "Don't Go", "Living in a Dream" and "Love an Adventure".
In addition, for the first time in more than 30 years, the band will perform feature tracks from controversial, yet much-loved, stadium rock "Race" album.
The show starts at 8pm and all tickets are $65.
