Chairo students make a splash

Students at Chairo Christian School's Drouin campus made a splash during its swimming carnival and water activities day earlier this month.
Staff and students enjoyed near perfect weather on the day, taking part in a program of events including traditional swimming strokes, as well as a variety of fun raft relays and the extremely popular "bombing" contest.
Aylward house won the carnival with 266 points from Liddell (241), Flynn (216) and Elliot (194).
Age group champions:
Boys: Under 11: Andre de Klerk (Elliot); Under 12: Darcy Lewis (Elliot); Under 13: Luke Smith (Liddel); Under 14: Daniel Coates (Liddell).
Girls: Under 11: Monique Zurrer (Flynn); Under 12: Chloe Christian (Aylward); Under 13: Melody Pedersen (Flynn); Under 14: Olivia Donders (Aylward).
