Warragul Acoustic Unplugged

The Warragul Acoustic Unplugged hold its monthly music concerts on the second Saturday of each month from 1pm to 5pm at the Warragul Senior Citizens Centre, on the corner of Barkly and Mason St, Warragul.

The Warragul Acoustic Unplugged was created to develop a friendly, caring and supportive space where local musicians could share their music in as close as possible to a "real" concert environment. Musicians and artists are given the opportunity to be able to perform their music regardless of their skill level.

The afternoon's format is for performers to take turns sharing a couple of items at a time, in turn, in front of a very appreciative and supportive audience, and with a somewhat professional presentation with good sound and lighting.
All performances are videoed with the opportunity (if desired) of their performances being presented on our Facebook page. This is a valued way of members being able to view and evaluate their performances. A shared supper of tea, coffee and cakes donated by Aperloos Bakery breaks the program after the first two hours.
New performers and audiences are most welcome regardless of skill level and we provide a very encouraging environment.
Ther next concert is on Saturday, July 11between 1pm and 5pm.
Additionally, every Tuesday morning, there are a small group from the WAU who meet for a musical workshop at the Warragul Senior Citizens Centre between 10am to noon. This is a great space to practice skills and work through songs with like-minded musicians in a very supportive environment.
