Students and staff at St Joseph's Catholic School, Trafalgar recently came together to celebrate R U OK? Day, promoting the importance of checking in on the wellbeing of others.
The school's year six student leaders embraced the occasion by dressing up in bright yellow novelty costumes and visiting every classroom to share the important message behind R U OK? Day.
Through fun and engaging conversations, they encouraged students to look out for one another and to start meaningful conversations with friends who may need support.
Students also enjoyed a special tasting activity featuring an array of yellow fruits and vegetables, including bananas, golden kiwi fruit, pineapple, yellow capsicum and even sour lemons. As a special treat, everyone was rewarded with a yellow banana lolly.
The wellbeing theme continued in the staffroom, where staff enjoyed a selection of yellow-themed morning tea treats.
Yellow flowers displayed throughout the school served as a cheerful reminder of the day's message: a simple conversation can make a big difference.
The message was clear for all at St Joseph's: ask, listen and show you care.
