It was double delight for Warragul's A grade team during Sunday's Gippsland League vote count as Renee Nobelius and Sienna Green both took home top prizes.
Nobelius was named the league best and fairest for season 2025, finishing the year on 29 votes - six ahead of both last year's winner April Bethune (Drouin) and Chloe Radford (Morwell).
Nobelius and Bethune were neck and neck in the count until the final four rounds, where Nobelius pulled away thanks to best on court performances against Leongatha, Maffra and Drouin.
Green finished with the top prize in the MVP count on 53 votes, ahead of Bethune in second on 44.
Fellow Gull Emma Ryde also finished clear top in the league goal shooting on 1243, having dominated under the ring all year and being the first Gippsland League player to reach 1000 goals in the home and away season.
Other best and fairest winners included Wonthaggi's Courtney Young in B grade, Leongatha's Kate McCarthy and Georgia Maskell in C grade and Finlay Bradley in 13 and under as well as Sale's Mahli Stothers in 17 and under and Alexa Doherty in 15 and under.
Other goal shooting winners were Warragul's Zoe Ryde (B grade), Morwell's Erin Barrow (C grade), Traralgon's Hannah Smith (17 and under) and Moe's Taylah Voumard (15 and under).
