Warragul product and St Kilda young gun Alix Tauru returned to his home town recently to host a skills clinic and meet some newfound fans.
The 'Flying Viking' was on hand along with former Warragul Industrials teammates Michael Debenham and Cody Templeton to put more than 20 kids through their paces at Western Park in a variety of drills and games.
Tauru also had his debut guernsey on hand to show to the kids, who enjoyed the chance to meet and learn from a genuine AFL player.
Tauru, 18, was selected by the Saints at pick 10 in last year's draft and made his debut in round 16, eventually playing 10 games.
Playing mostly in the backline, Tauru made a name for himself through his vertical leap and his Swedish heritage, earning himself the Flying Viking moniker.
