Warragul Croquet Club held another busy and successful double tournament across the weekend.
Players were busy avoiding rain showers on Saturday and it thankfully held off until play was completed on Sunday.
Section two saw four teams end up on four wins, split by net hoops ranging from -1 to +6.
Runner-up was the Traralgon pair of Darryl Edwards and Lynette Taylor with four wins and six hoops. The winner was Leongatha husband and wife Michael and Jo Butterfield who didn't drop a game all weekend.
Section one saw five teams on four wins, separated by hoops -3 to +9.
The runner-up was Belmont pair Steve Podolak and Judy Anderson on four wins and nine net hoops. The winner was tournament stalwarts Gerry Kool and Sue Cartwright from Wonthaggi, with five wins and seven net hoops.
Referee Tom Lacey did a terrific job alongside Warragul president and Victorian State team member Julie Beasley.
