Part of a large eucalypt tree fell onto the Drouin Football Club's social rooms at the recreation reserve last week.
Club president Chris Soumilas said fortunately the tree did not penetrate the roofing and cause water damage inside the building from the heavy rain that accompanied the gale force winds during Tuesday's storm.

He said it was hoped repairs to the structure would be undertaken in the next few weeks.
