State Opposition leader Brad Battin visited Warragul last week, meeting with local business owners to discuss a range of issues.
Mr Battin also met with the Committee for Gippsland and a number of energy companies.
During their discussions, a range of issues were raised, including taxes and regulation in Victoria, crime levels across the state and the impact of the Emergency Services and Volunteers Levy.
"One of the biggest issues in crime is around bail, young offenders can get bail very very quickly," Mr Battin said. "Under a government that I lead, if you break bail, you'll face jail."
