A $30,000 cheque from the Trafalgar Op Shop made Christmas a lot sweeter for Trafalgar aged care facility Andrews House.
The presentation of the money at a special Christmas themed afternoon tea brought to $70,000 the amount raised for Andrews House by volunteers at the shop for 2023.
They have also donated $6000 to the Trafalgar Youth Resource Centre.
Chair of West Gippsland Healthcare Group that manages Andrews House Jo-Anne Moorfoot attended the cheque handover to thank the volunteers for their hard work and ongoing support.
It's an incredible donation, she said,
Andrews House provides permanent and respite care for aged people and is fully accredited in Aged Care Quality Standards.
