An imitation gun was allegedly pointed at a motorist during a road rage incident on the Princes Fwy at Tynong North.
Police immediately responded, intercepting a vehicle and arresting a 20-year-old Warragul man.
The road rage incident was reported near Gumbuya World on Monday, October 27 at about 5.30pm.
It is alleged a white 4WD ute was driving erratically and tailgating. Whilst overtaking the victim's vehicle, it is alleged the driver pulled out a gun and pointed it outside a window at the victim.
Intercepting the ute in Warragul, police allegedly seized a small black imitation firearm.
The 20-year-old Warragul man was charged and bailed. He will appear at Latrobe Valley Magistrates' Court at a later date.
