Cash and jewellery were amongst items stolen in a house burglary at Trafalgar East on Wednesday.
Police believe a jimmy was used to force open a back sliding door at the Fassifern Rd property between 12.30pm and 2.05pm.
They said it appeared the entire house had been searched, with cupboards and drawers opened in all rooms and the main bedroom ransacked.
It was reported that $200 in cash, jewellery valued at an estimated $8000, perfume and a watch were all stolen.
