Pink for cancer at Moe races
1 min read

The Moe Racing Club is gearing up to host a Pink Luncheon this October to raise funds for the Latrobe Regional Health cancer ward.
On Sunday, October 19 racegoers of all kinds will don a splash of pink and head to the races for a special day featuring fashion, lunch and plenty of racing action.
Cancer survivor and author Kate Gale will feature as a guest speaker and there will be acoustic entertainment from singer Mick Harrington.
A pink fashions on the field competition is expected to attract a lot of attention.
Along with funds raised at the lunch, the club will donate racecourse entry fees.
Fundraising games and activities will be held throughout the day as well as a live auction and raffles with prizes donated by local businesses including vouchers, memberships and lessons.
It's the first time the club has held an event like this and is hoping to get as many people along as possible.
Tickets cost $90 which included racecourse admission, a two course luncheon and entertainment. The event is catered for tables of 10 but guests can purchase individual tickets and be seated at a shared table.
