Have your say on pool and leisure facilities
1 min read

Community members are being encouraged to provide feedback to shape a service review of the shire's leisure and aquatic facilities.
As part of the service review, council is seeking information to develop a tender specification for its leisure facilities contract, which is due to go to market later this year.
Leisure facilities in the shire include: Warragul Leisure Centre, Bellbird Park Indoor Centre, Rawson indoor pool and outdoor pools at Drouin, Trafalgar, Neerim South and Thorpdale.

Deputy mayor Tricia Jones said the community's input would be vital to ensuring services continued to meet the needs of residents of all ages and abilities.
"Our leisure and aquatic facilities play such an important role in supporting the health, wellbeing and social connection of our community.
"This is a valuable opportunity for the community to let us know what's working well with the current service, what needs improvement and what they'd love to see in the future.
"Whether you use the facilities weekly or only during summer, your feedback will help shape the services that benefit everyone," she said.
Cr Jones said council was committed to delivering a service that met community expectations, reflected current best practice and complies with relevant legislation – all while remaining accessible, inclusive and welcoming for everyone.
"This consultation is about more than just ticking boxes – it's about making sure our services are guided by the people who use them," Cr Jones said.
The survey is open on council's online engagement platform Baw Baw Connect and will close at pm on June 6.
