A $2.4 million expansion project has been announced for Chairo Christian School's Drouin Campus.
Senator Jess Walsh announced the funding on Thursday, saying the senior school project will deliver five classrooms, foyer, kitchenette, café, conference room and an outdoor area and learning and staff spaces.
"These new facilities will provide school staff, teachers and students at Chairo Christian School Drouin Campus with better, more modern spaces in which to work, teach and learn," Sen Walsh said."The Australian government is committed to providing all schools with appropriate funding so that all students, including those at Chairo Christian School Drouin Campus, get the best possible education."
Sen Walsh said the new facilities will benefit the students currently at Chairo Christian School Drouin Campus, as well as the many students who will follow in future years.
Chairo Christian School was successful in its grant application under the Federal Government's capital grants program.
