Drouin Lions Club has welcomed Peggy Lee as its newest member.
Peggy, who recently retired, moved to Drouin with her husband two years ago. Since then, they have grown to love the area and its strong sense of community.
Peggy first connected with the Lions club when she met member Lorraine, who was selling raffle tickets at a local barbeque. Their friendly chat about the club inspired Peggy to learn more about becoming involved.
Peggy has a strong passion for helping those in need, especially the homeless in our community. She has already begun collecting toiletries to put together care packs for distribution, and with the support of fellow Lions, this initiative is set to make a real difference.
