Cops chat to community
1 min read

A successful "Coffee with a Cop" session was held at Bunnings in Warragul last Tuesday in conjunction with Crime Prevention Month.
Leading senior constable Paula Fowler said the informal session was an opportunity for police to have a chat with local community members and answer questions.
"Community safety isn't just about responding to crime, it's about preventing it before it happens," leading sen const Fowler said. "It's checking in on your neighbours, keeping an eye out for anything unusual, securing your home and belongings, and reporting suspicious activity."
"When we work together, we create safer streets, stronger connections and a sense of belonging for everyone," she said.
Crime Prevention Month is a Neighbourhood Watch initiative which focuses on simple actions all residents can take to reduce crime and look out for each other.
