A pinewood derby is offering community members the opportunity to build a car, race it and raise funds for two worthy organisations.
The event will raise funds for Warragul Men's Shed and Warragul Pathfinders.
The fundraising event will be held on Saturday September 2 at 6.30pm at the Warragul Seventh Day Adventist Church in Mason St.
Participants will make their own pinewood cars, which will be raced via gravity down a custom made ramp.
Organisers have received great support from local businesses, who have donated items that will be sold during a silent auction.
Food also will be available for purchase on the night.
Th event is for all ages and admission is free. The cars will be made by registrants of different ages, so it will be interesting to see what designs they create. Those attending will get the opportunity to vote for the best in show.
Cost of the car kits is $6 each.
