Long serving Warragul Rotary Club member John Gallienne was recently recognised with a Paul Harris Fellow Sapphire Pin.
Presenting the honour at a recent meeting, past president Tony Carson spoke of John's relentless desire to produce the best possible Christmas Trees. He commented that rabbits, spiders, snails and other pests were fearful of John, who for years pursued excellence with the Christmas trees.
The Sapphire Pin recognised John's work with the Christmas trees over many years and all his hard work for Rotary and the community.
