A 13-year-old boy received a caution following a burglary at the Warragul Country Club on Thursday morning.
Police allege an old golf buggy was used to smash a pro shop window at the Sutton St site at 5.05am.
The window was further broken apart, allowing a register to be accessed and pulled through the window.
Police said it followed an unsuccessful attempt to kick in the building's front door.
A 13-year-old Warragul boy was arrested at 9am. He was released with a caution.
