Noojee is in for a treat next year when the community hosts its first truffle festival to celebrate local flavours and show off the region's home grown produce.
Festival organisers last week received a significant boost with Agriculture Ministrer Ros Spence announcing $173,000 from the Forestry Transition Program's community development fund to help the Noojee and District Historical Society (NDHS) launch its new annual truffle festival.
