Ireland comes to WGAC

An internationally acclaimed celebration of Irish music, dance and storytelling is set to bring a touch of Celtic magic to West Gippsland when A Taste of Ireland - The Irish Music & Dance Sensation arrives this September.
Presented by Pace Live, the production returns to Australia following successful seasons on Off-Broadway and London's West End, showcasing a cast of performers that includes former World Irish dance champions and artists from renowned productions such as Riverdance and Lord of the Dance. Blending traditional Irish culture with a contemporary edge, the two-hour show promises a high-energy mix of music, dance and storytelling, featuring live singing, fast-paced choreography and plenty of Irish humour.
Audiences can expect fresh interpretations of beloved Irish classics including Danny Boy, Tell Me Ma and The Wild Rover, performed alongside a modern score designed to bring Ireland's rich history and traditions to life for a new generation. The production traces key moments in Ireland's story through rhythm and movement, combining traditional Irish dance with contemporary performance styles and live musical arrangements.
Dramatic storytelling is paired with crowd-pleasing dance sequences, including the show's signature acapella tap battles.
Over the past decade, A Taste of Ireland has built a strong international following, attracting audiences with its combination of cultural heritage, world-class dancing and modern theatrical flair.
With only a limited number of Australian performances scheduled, local audiences will have the opportunity to experience the acclaimed production when it arrives on September 16.
