Local police intercepted two alleged drink drivers over the grand final long weekend as part of Operation Scoreboard.
At about 10:50am, on September 25, a 58-year-old woman allegedly recorded an exceedingly high blood alcohol reading at a police breath testing site in Queen St, Warragul.
Police said the woman's licence was immediately suspended but her work vehicle was not impounded.
Three days later, in the early morning of September 28, a 60-year-old man returned a reported blood-alcohol-reading of 0.2270, close to five times over the limit.
His vehicle was impounded and his licence was immediately suspended. The driver will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
