Several car thefts occurred across West Gippsland in the past week, with offenders targeting Toyota Landcruisers.

Several car thefts occurred across West Gippsland in the past week, with offenders targeting Toyota Landcruisers.
A white 2021 Hyundai Tucson was stolen from the owner's driveway at 8.30am on September 21 in Royal Pines Drv, Drouin. The vehicle's registration is DND 989.
On the same night a red Toyota Landcruiser ute was stolen from Warragul Railway Station. The vehicle's registration is CQH 815.
Another Landcruiser, a 2021 white wagon, was stolen from a private property in Moir Rd, Trafalgar East on September 22.
Police said it was unclear how offenders accessed the vehicle, but gained access to the premises after cutting locks on the property's gate.
A grey Toyota Landcruiser was stolen from the Woolworths car park in Drouin, between about 5pm and 7pm on September 24. Police said it was seen later that day being driven erratically in Tyers and reversing into another vehicle.
A white 2020 Toyota Prado, with registration 1WK 3HR, was stolen from the underground car park at the Mercure in Mason St, Warragul between 3pm on September 27 and 7am on September 28.
Police said offenders gained access by smashing a window. Glass was found at the scene.
In all cases, police said the vehicles were locked, indicating the use of devices by offenders.
None of the vehicles have been recovered. Police recommend use of steering locks or immobilisers to prevent thefts.
