Callout for artists and creatives

Baw Baw Shire is calling local artists and creatives to apply for up to $2000 in funding through council's Arts and Culture Fund program.

The Arts and Culture Fund supports local creatives to grow their creative practices and contribute to the arts in our community.

Baw Baw Shire mayor Kate Wilson said the program had helped enrich the community.

"Over the past two years, our Arts and Culture Fund has supported 21 projects – from live music to ceramic workshops and everything in between," Cr Wilson said.

"We know how important art and creativity are to our health and the enrichment of our lives. We want to help bring the community's creative ideas to life."

Eligible applicants can apply for a monetary grant of up to $2000 to support their work.
