Police continue to urge motorists across West Gippsland to secure their vehicles, after another spate of thefts of and from cars in the past week.

Police said West Gippsland Hospital continued to be a hotspot after offenders removed registration plates MERYLJ from a Toyota four wheel drive.
In Neerim South, another unique set of plates reading JAM were stolen from a Chrysler Valiant in Queen St.
Police encouraged anyone who sees a vehicle bearing either of these plates to contact Crimestoppers to assist with investigations.
Police also are investigating two stolen vehicles in the same week.
In one incident, thieves entered an unlocked garage overnight between September 18 and 19, stealing a Black 2010 Lexus SUV. It was unknown how offenders accessed the vehicle. Registration is 1LA9GN.
In a separate incident, a white 2018 Nissan Hilux ute was stolen from Newton St, Warragul. At about 5:20am, offenders gained entry to the vehicle, believed to be locked, after smashing a window.
The car, bearing plates BDI086 remains outstanding.
