Annual fundraiser for Olivia's Place

The annual Olivia's Place Gala raised a record $135,718 thanks to the generosity of sponsors and supporters of the event held at Lardner Park.

Last year's gala $105,000 and organisers knew that were setting a challenge with the 2026 target of $120,000.

Overwhelming support on the night, including the popular auction where even a fish and chip dinner sold for an insane amount, contributed to the final tally.

The money raised will help Olivia's Place continue supporting Gippsland families through pregnancy and early parenting, providing practical support, connection and a little extra help when families need it most.

Wrapping up the event on social media, organisers were grateful for the many people who came together to make the gala what it was.

"To our incredible sponsors, the local businesses who donated auction items, prizes and gifts, our generous guests, our volunteers, our gala team and everyone who bought a ticket, placed a bid, bought a raffle ticket or supported the night in some way, thank you.
"It takes a village to put on a night like this, and we are so lucky to have one that gets behind Olivia's Place in such a big way."
