Two CFMEU officials, including a 46-year-old Westbury man, have been arrested as part of the Taskforce Hawk investigation into a data breach and personal information sharing.
A search warrant was executed at a St Albans home on Thursday, resulting in the arrest of the Westbury man and a 37-year-old St Albans man on five counts of distributing intimate images.
The Westbury man was charged with five counts of distributing intimate images and was bailed to appear at Latrobe Valley Magistrates on January 11 2027.
A mobile phone was seized at the property, as well two taser-style devices, and knuckledusters.
Investigators from both Taskforce Hawk and the Cybercrime squad will continue to assess information provided to them and urge anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
