Athlone fatality

Police are investigating a fatal crash in Athlone last Wednesday where a vehicle crashed into a tree.
At 7:30pm on Drouin-Korumburra Rd, a car left the road and collided with a tree before catching fire, killing the driver at the scene.
The driver, a 22-year-old South Gippsland man died. There were no other occupants in the vehicle.
Anyone who witnessed the crash, has CCTV/dashcam footage or anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
