Past and present students, community members and current and former staff came together at Marist-Sion College Warragul on Sunday for a special 50 year anniversary community open day.
The event provided a chance for visitors to reconnect, rediscover and celebrate 50 years of Marist-Sion College.
There was plenty for visitors to enjoy, including interactive learning showcases across subject areas, guided and self-guided tour around the campus, live performances, rides, face painting and balloon art and history displays highlighting the journey of the college since the union of Our Lady of Sion College and St Joseph's Marist College in 1975.
The 2026 college production also was announced. "Peter Pan" will be staged at the West Gippsland Arts Centre in July 2026.
The open day was one of many 50 year anniversary celebrations held by the college in 2025, which included a special performing arts evening at the West Gippsland Arts Centre in June.
