Columba Catholic Primary School in Bunyip celebrated Father's Day last Thursday.
About 150 dads, grandfathers and special friends attended the day which began with a liturgy in the playground.
Following the liturgy the group returned to the student's classrooms for an "open classroom" session with their guests.
A coffee van was on hand to provide the dads and other guests a possibly much needed hit of caffeine.
The school's motto is "Let Your Light Shine" and its aim is to provide extensive opportunities to enable each student's light to shine and to foster the light in those around them and those who need support.
