Dusties leading the way

Women's and girls footy is absolutely flying at Warragul Industrials as every one of their female teams will take the field for finals this weekend.
The club's under 12s, 14s, 16s, 18s and two senior sides will be in the thick of the action with the seniors, reserves and under 18s all hunting premiership glory in their respective grand finals.
The seniors will be aiming for a rare run of success in the Mornington Peninsula league's top division - the club is in their third straight grand final and are aiming for a second premiership in three seasons.
In the under 18s the Dusties are out to finish off one of the more dominant seasons you're likely to see in local footy.
Having conquered all before them - and by some sizeable margins - the Dusties have conceded just 40 points across 13 games.
It also will be a chance for redemption after the Dusties carved out a similarly dominant season last year, only to fall to Bairnsdale in the decider.
The under 12s and 16s are both out to win their way straight through to the grand final with double chances in hand, while for the under 14s it's win or go home in an elimination final.
To mark the occasion the club had all teams training at Western Park on Wednesday night, giving a chance for all the players to mingle in a whole-club approach.
Warragul Industrials women's president Carlee Maher said the vibes around the Dusties had been "amazing."

"It's super exciting, there have been lots of giggles at training. Everyone's super excited," she said.

The women's program has come a long way from just a few years ago, where Maher and current under 18s coach Michaela Williams struggled to get more than seven players at training.
Now with dozens of girls and women on board, the hard work is paying off.
"Making this family of sorts and seeing it grow had been incredible," she said.
"This is what we set out to do when we started and now it's outgrowing our expectations."

Friday
Under 12s: Koo wee rup vs Warragul Industrials (qualifying final) - Western Park 1, 5:30pm.
Under 14s: Warragul Industrials vs Nar Nar Goon White (elimination final 2) - Western Park 2, 6:30pm.
Under 16s: Warragul Industrials vs Inverloch-Kongwak (qualifying final) - Western Park 1, 7:45pm.
Saturday
Reserves: Mornington vs Warragul Industrials (grand final) - Kinetic Stadium (Frankston), 12:30pm.
Seniors: Warragul Industrials vs Mornington (grand final) - Kinetic Stadium (Frankston), 3pm.
Sunday
Under 18s: Warragul Industrials vs Warranor (grand final) - Traralgon Showgrounds, 12:30pm.
