Baw Baw Arts Alliance will once again host an "art frenzy" at this year's Ficifolia Festival.
The theme for artists this year is "crazy flowers", something BBAA artist Yvette Stubbs said everyone can connect with.
"The idea behind 'crazy flowers' is that it's accessible for everyone," Yvette said. "All artists know flowers, and the idea of crazy flowers gives them scope to create any kind of flowers, whether they're wild or realistic. It's a visually exciting theme, creating a colour frenzy in your head."
Yvette said the idea of the art frenzy was to "let the crowd in" and watch the artists at work.
"People walking past will be able to relate to the concept of flowers," she said. "We'll be set up on the oval which is a fantastic spot for people passing by to come and watch the artists create."
Everyone is welcome to participate in the "art frenzy" and create work in any medium. Artists must supply their own materials and refreshments will be provided.
A table of flowers will be provided for inspiration.
Anyone wishing to participate in the event should contact Yvette on 0447 640 038 for more information.
