Ghostlight Theatre will perform its fundraising revue concert "Miscast Musicals" at Wesley of Warragul on Friday.
A revue style concert filled with popular songs from different musicals, "Miscast Musicals" will see 21 local talents take on a song from a role they wouldn't typically be cast in.
Ghostlight Theatre committee member Courtney Bush said the concert provided the opportunity to "flip the script" on well known songs.
"For example, a girl could be singing a boy's song or an older person singing a young person's song, like a man singing "Tomorrow" from Annie," Courtney said.
"Most of (the songs) are very popular musical theatre songs, from Disney to The Sound of Music to Le Mis, there's a bit of everything."
The audience can expect to hear fantastic vocal performances supported by talented musicians and humorous emcees.
"Esther Bruerton will be our accompanist on the piano for some of our songs," Courtney said.
"Matthew Berend and Bree Ashwood will be our emcees for the night. They will be introducing all the performers and it'll be quite funny with their banter and charisma between each number."
Attendees also will get the chance to see a sneak preview performance from Ghostlight's upcoming production of "Little Women".
Courtney encouraged people to come along and support their talented local performers and a local theatre company.
"Some of them are brand new, they've not been involved with Ghostlight before, and some have been on stage their whole lives," Courtney said.
"It's going to be a really fun, entertaining night."
Money raised through ticket sales from the "Miscast Musicals" performance will be put towards Ghostlight's production of "Little Women" in August.
"Miscast Musicals" will begin at 7pm on Friday at Wesley of Warragul.
