Drouin's desired move to the West Gippsland Football Netball Competition is a step closer to reality after the WGFNC voted in favour of the transfer on Wednesday night.
The Hawks' application was the only one to be approved on the night as Pakenham and Officer were both rejected.
All 11 of the competition's current clubs had two votes to cast. Applications required a minimum of 17 out of 22 votes to pass.
