Wells makes history

Twenty goals from Jason 'Jay' Wells has the dynamic Longwarry forward eyeing off a century return for the 2025 season as soon as next week.


It also sees him carve out a piece of league history, becoming the first player in the EDFNL to kick 20 goals in a single game.
The mammoth haul against the struggling Poowong sees Wells on 95 goals for the season.
Dining out on a winless Magpies, his haul helped the Crows to a thumping 34-14 (218) to 5-3 (33) victory.

BULN BULN comfortably accounted for Bunyip, 18-19 (127) to 4-8 (32).
Despite some inaccuracy the Lyrebirds controlled the contest throughout, Angus Mitchell finishing with six goals.
Sam Batson, Nathan Tutton, Reece Campbell, Riley Eastwell and Charles Kilmartin were also prominent.
The better players for the Bulldogs were Mitchell Sproles, Jeb McLeod, Ned Ashton, Benjamin Wright, Ben Stewart and Reid Jenkin.
